The Blacksmith

You are the blacksmith of a small village and your work is well known in this kingdom.  Since your father got killed by bandits a couple of months ago, you try to fulfill your duties as good as possible – sharpen some axes, do some tinker work and create some horseshoe. But this is only the beginning.

Your father learned you good techniques, but your skills are at their very beginning. Do good work with your own sweat and blood, strengthen your muscles and increase your skills to become one of the most famous blacksmiths of this kingdom.

Buy resources from market, sell swords and armory at your shop to get money for better forge upgrades and recipes. Hire apprentices to get help for your hard work and create unique weapons and armor for the most famous heroes of this world.

What is “The Blacksmith”?

The Blacksmith is an economy simulation game based in a fantasy world full of heroes, monsters, magic and fantasy. You are a young blacksmith and your goal is to become the most famous blacksmiths of your kingdom. You start small, but you grow big. Do a good job in creating many many things in your blacksmith shop, sell them for good prices and increase your skill.

You can upgrade your blacksmith shop, hire apprentices and buy and sell goods to get richt and famous. But do not be too greedy, do not betray your customers otherwise they will spread the word around and you will soon starve because you have no money for your meal.

What is the release date of this video game?

Actually I am prototyping a lot to find the right mechanics that make this game fun. But hopefully mid to late 2017. Take a look at my dev blog – I’ll write almost every week posts about the progress of this game.
